On average NHSCA Nationals alumni make an average of 15 of the 20 NCAA Division I National Wrestling Championship finals appearances each year. On average, 7 of the 10 NHSCA participants claim NCAA titles. 54 of the 80 2018 NCAA All Americans competed here when they were high school career. The 2018 Sophomore Nationals produced some unbelievable talent that is going to be a threat for years to come on the collegiate level.

Accept no substitute... Modeled after the NCAA Division I Championship, the NHSCA National Wrestling Championships affords you the very best competition in the country and best chance to be noticed by college coaches. This is a showdown where the best meet the best. It will test your mental and physical toughness as a wrestler. This is a tremendous opportunity for the nation's top ranked wrestlers to collide with the "small school" state runner-up; put the rankings aside and prove that they are the top Sophomore wrestler in the country in their weight class. The top 8 place finishers in each weight class will officially be declared Sophomore All-Americans and will also be recognized at the National High School Sports Hall of Fame Museum. Truly a brilliant wrestling tradition... Don't miss your chance to be a part of it. One Sophomore Champion will be crowned in each weight class. The top eight place finishers in each weight class are officially declared
Sophomore All-Americans and will receive a statue as well as an All-American certificate.

A showcase for college recruiting... Every college wrestling coach in the country has been invited to attend this event. Past events have served as tremendous showcases of recruiting for the college coach. Last year, over 200 college and university wrestling coaches attended the event. The list of schools included the top 25 Division I wrestling programs in the country. The NHSCA also includes free clinics throughout the event by the best of the best. There have been thousands of scholarships over the past 20 years awarded to individuals because of their performance at this event. Please do not confuse... The 30th Annual NHSCA High School Nationals with any other event. All 40 mats will also be webcast live from Virginia Beach by FLOwrestlingClick Here to see the NHSCA All Americans from years past and full brackets. The full list of NCAA Champions and All-Americans that have competed in this event is extensive.
