Tournament format:

This tournament is an eight team, no elimination event. Each team is guaranteed three matches, with match play results from the two day competition determining the order of finish - Tournament Champions through eighth place. The format closely resembles the traditional college match format. Each match consists of six singles sets and three doubles sets. On Friday, the singles and doubles sets will be 8-game pro-sets using regular scoring, with a 12-point tiebreaker played at 7-7. The team that wins the most sets in each match wins the team match. On Saturday, the teams in the semi-finals of the Main Draw will continue to play 8-game pro-sets. All other matches will consist of regular sets/regular scoring with a 12-point tiebreak played at 6-6. Singles players can also play doubles, however, substitutions are allowed between singles and doubles. The #1 singles player must play #1 doubles (if playing doubles), the #2 singles player must play either #1 or #2 doubles (if playing doubles). In singles, a no stacking rule is in effect. Teams must play their best player at #1, second best at #2 and so on. Awards will be given to the top two finishing teams in the Main Draw.

"All Tournament Team"

Six players will be chosen by the Tournament Coaches Committee for their excellent play in the tournament to receive this award.

We have several of the country’s best tennis clubs and Universities generously offering their facilities as host sites for this event.

Our goal is to bring recognition to and to showcase the high caliber level of tennis that High School’s are generating across the country. The camaraderie and team format that makes High School tennis so great will finally get the national recognition it finally deserves.

We will hope you will want to be a part of growing and supporting grassroots tennis and helping to shape and groom our future stars of tomorrow.
