Elvino Felipe (Georgia): Class 2A state champion with 62-5 record at 119 pounds for coach Brian Beasley at Chattooga High School; career record 99-14. Earned 3.69 GPA and ranks in the top 20 per cent of his class.      

Cole Hayes (Tennessee): Division 2 state champion with 47-3 record at 130 pounds for coach Jim Morgan at The Baylor School. Earned 3.65 GPA.      

Andrew Hill (Connecticut): Finished 31-18 and fifth in Class M state tournament at 130 pounds for coaches Michael Voiland and Mike Morris at Bacon Academy; 57 career wins. Earned 3.5 GPA and ranks in the top 20 per cent of his class.      

Austin Lindsay (Missouri): Two-time Class 1 state champion with 40-0 record at 140 pounds coach Matt Parn at Brookfield High School, career record 82-2. Earned 3.55 GPA and ranks in the top 20 per cent of his class.      

Malcolm Martin (Michigan): Finished 57-5 and fourth in Division 4 state tournament at 135 pounds for coach Doug Baird at Hesperia High School; career record 86-11. Earned 3.74 GPA and ranks No. 7 in a class of 83.      

Patrick Mestrez (South Carolina): Finished 47-9 in Class 4A state tournament at 112 pounds for coach Ron Donlick at Berkeley High School; third in state as freshman; career record 91-13. Earned 3.93 GPA and ranks No. 4 in a class of 393.      

Jack O’Brien (Iowa): Finished 33-14 and sixth in Class A state tournament at 112 pounds for coach Bob Yilek at Belle Plaine High School; career record 72-25. Earned 3.9 GPA and ranks No. 3 in a class of 54.      

Colin Shober (Pennsylvania): Finished 51-1 and third in Class AA state tournament at 130 pounds for coach Duane Maurer at Schuylkill Valley High School; career record 88-12. Earned 3.9 GPA.      

Tony Vaske (Minnesota): Finished 44-1 and third in Class A state tournament at 119 pounds for coach Jeff Briard at Springfield High School; two-time state place-winner; career record 108-16. Earned 3.9 GPA and ranks No. 2 in a class of 56.      

Collin Zeerip (Michigan): Division 4 state champion with 61-1 record at 103 pounds for coach Doug Baird at Hesperia High School; career record 119-7. Earned 4.0 GPA and ranks No. 1 in a class of 83.

 

Class of 2011        

Chrissy Chow (Hawaii): Girls state champion with 20-3 record at 114 pounds for coach Matt Oney at Punahou High School. Earned 3.76 GPA.      

Benjamin Creed (North Carolina): Class 4A state champion with 51-6 record at 103 pounds for coach Jerry Winterton at Cary High School. Earned 3.5 GPA and ranks in the top 10 per cent of his class.      

Nick Dodge (Connecticut): Class M state runner-up with 34-12 record at 103 pounds for coaches Michael Voiland and Mike Morris at Bacon Academy. Earned 3.46 GPA.      

David Helton (Tennessee): Finished 34-16 and third in Division 2 state tournament at 189 pounds for coach Jim Morgan at The Baylor School. Earned 3.5 GPA.      

Michael Kennedy (Tennessee): Finished 20-6 and sixth in Division 1 state tournament at 171 pounds for coach Ken Hammonds at Blackman High School. Earned 3.4 GPA.      

Alex Manley (Tennessee): Division 2 state runnerup with 44-4 record at 112 pounds for coach Jim Morgan at The Baylor School; two-time state placewinner. Earned 3.82 GPA.      

Michael Shaughnessy (New Jersey): Finished 22-13 at 125 pounds for coach John Gagliano at Howell High School. Finished eighth in National High School Freshman Wrestling Championships. Earned 3.56 GPA.
