History was made in the Senior finals as New Jersey’s Bryant "BJ" Clagon captured his 4th NHSCA title at 145, making him the third wrestler ever to do so. Clagon is currently ranked #3 in the nation.

"This year's event truly showcased top senior wrestlers from across the nation", said NHSCA Executive Director, Bobby Ferraro.  "We are glad to be able to bring the Senior National finals to households around the country.  To have champions crowned from 13 different states is a testimony to the talent that this event attracts year in and year out".

The finals were a star-spangled event with 18 states represented in the 14 weight classes. Leading the championship parade were two 4X state champs who closed-out their scholastic careers with NHSCA senior titles.  J’den Cox of Hickman High School in Missouri won his second straight NHSCA title by capturing the 220-pound title with a 10-1 win over Spencer Empey. Cox, who is ranked #3 nationally at heavyweight, won four Missouri state championships while amassing a record of 205-3 with 205 straight victories.
