Eligibility: Each club / state team is encouraged to represent 3 divisions
Divisions and Weight Classes - There is one weigh-in for the entire event. You must be wearing a wristband to weigh in.
High School, grades 9-12, 3 lb. allowance, 106, 113, 120, 126, 132, 138, 145, 152, 160, 170, 182, 195, 220, 285
Middle School, grades 6*-8, 2 lb. allowance, 75, 80, 85, 90, 95, 100, 105, 112, 119, 127, 135, 142, 154, 165, 180, 230
Elementary School, grades 4-6*, 1 lb. allowance, 55, 60, 65, 70, 75, 80, 85, 90, 95, 100, 105, 112, 119, 125, 132, 160
* 6th grade eligibility: 6th graders can determine which division they wish to wrestle. You can only wrestle in one division throughout the event.
Team Entry Fee - $700 per team (each team may have a maximum of 18 wrestlers ). This is an average of $40 per wrestler for a team of 18 wrestlers.
**Please note that if you want to bring additional alternates, the fee is $40 / additional wrestler and we suggest that you try to place the athlete on a team that has an incomplete roster. This can be done at our mandatory meeting prior to the start of the event.
There is a $100 deposit required for each team that is entered.
ALL teams MUST be paid in full by Wednesday, May 15th.
Your team roster is due online by midnight of Sunday, May 19th. If your roster is not online by this time, a $50.00 penalty will ensue.
These penalities will be enforced for the 2013 NHSCA National Duals.
Table workers - Each team is responsible for their own table worker. He or she will receive free entry into the event. Please send these names by May 24th to Mattie at mpotter@nhsca.com
Format - Championship tournament format with complete consolation rounds. Every team is guaranteed 7 matches. Challenge matches will be offered at a cost of $50 per team, after the 7 guaranteed matches.
Match Times:
High School Division - 1.30-1.30-1.30
Middle School Division - 1.15-1.15-1.15
Elementary School Division - 1-1-1
Awards - In each division, participants from the top 4 placing teams will receive medals, as well as official recognition as All-Americans.
Team Awards- The top 4 place finishing teams will also receive a beautiful statue.
